Hi All,

I would like to develop Smartcard reader application on Android
3.1/2.x based tablets.

1.My application for Automatic scanning ( using for attendance
tracking) using USB Smartcard reader.
2.When try to connect Smartcard reader with Xoom (smartcard has USB ,
other side for xoom has micro USB, so connecting these two device
using adopter), its not connecting and even its smartcard device is
not getting power itself.
3.Smart card reader doesn't have any power supply, just its USB
device. When connect to the desktop its automatically getting power
and its detecting as a new device.
4. I have contacted to vendor he mentioned some of the linux based
tablets able to connect it and able to read the smart cards. When I
used the same device for Archos 7 windows tablet and Motorola Xoom,
its not at all getting connecting and even its not getting power
supply to the device.
5. I try to findout how to connect and communicated each others. Could
you suggest me some ideas.
6. I have found PCSC lite driver has to be installed on the tablet,
how can I found PCSC driver is enabled in my tablet or not.
7. Is there any way get the driver or software or package to enable
the Smart card device and able to read it.

Welcome the suggestion. Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers
Srinivas Nainala
