Hi, I am working on Android Gingerbreead Platform. I am facing a particular issue with Google Homepage.
This is related to screen orientation and context menu functioning. When I long press on some specific links on Google Homepage, for eg: iGoogle, a context menu opens. Now if I rotate the device, to enable orientation change, the same homepage, and context menu is redrawn. But the context menu items are non-functioning now. i.e. the context menu items when selected do not process the further action. When explored, it is observed that, this issue is caused because the Browser looses focus of the selcted anchor, i.e. iGoogle in this case, when the orientation is changed. Due to this, the context menu handler does not gets called. Has anyone faced a similar issue? Can you suggest some solution? This issue is observed on android phones of various vendors, and is also seen on the emulator. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
