Hello! I have more of a conceptual question... Lets say I have a map of a county. This map is in a particular projection and can, of course, be reprojected as needed in case there is a better projection to work with. Normally, someone would just use the google maps API for this, but I want to look at this map offline - yet still be able to see my GPS location on the map.
Is there any way to create an android application to display an offline map (probably as an imageview?) and use the data from the internal GPS to place a marker on the map? And if so... can you provide any pointers on how to at least start to go about it? Thanks a bunch! -Mark -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
