I can tell you that I've used QuickSSHd
(http://teslacoilsw.com/quicksshd). You supply the SSH password in the
QuickSSHd activity and use that to log in with a semi-arbitrary user
name, or you can use SSH shared keys. I can't speak to the `su` stuff,
but QuickSSHd does appear to support root.
