well yes. I am using two seperate threads. One for Media Player. The code is pretty simple one to prepare and then start the Media Player..
In the other thread, I am trying to read from the sdcard.. I start both thread one after the another. The media player plays for about 2-3 sec. Then the file read starts. But even after that is complete, the Media Player doesnt start again.. > but it was only a test , may be there is another way to manage > threads.
