Thanks but I did try that many times and it makes no difference.  FYI
today ADB can not see the Tab!  For a system that never had a problem
see the Tab for three months to suddenly not be able to see it
something must have changed and I feel like it is on the Ubuntu side
but I don't know how long I have been using Android SDK Platform-
tools, revision 6?
