We already have a free app in the market which is doing fairly well. We now want to offer a newer version of the app, this with the ability to go Pro via Inapp billing. I've run several tests with the static requests and they all seem to work well. When I tried to upload the app to market to test, it does not let me upload with the same package name and says "you need to upgrade existing app". And, when I try to see if I can upgrade without publishing the existing app, it has messaging which says "Clicking 'Save" will make the app live on Android Market".
I'd like to test the inapp billing piece, not make it live at this point. I dont want to change package names just to test because it is a very elaborate process needing sweeping structure and code changes where there are references to package names.
