hi all: I compare my htc incredible with my friends htc evo 4g. and I find that,while connecting 3G: evo 4g: rmnet0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr C2:72:AE:B9:A0:66 Incredible: rmnet0 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00
I think this "encap:UNSPEC" is the reason which block me. so,does any one know how can I change it to encap:Ethernet ? 2011/11/3 fycd <doggoodf...@gmail.com> > hi all: > > This is it, > > Connect with wifi+usb+Tethering, PC works well. > but , > Connect with 3G+usb+Tethering, PC can't access any website: > > it returns "net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET" in Chrome. > > PC can ping all website tether with both wifi & 3G. > > I really wanna it works well with 3G,.. > > could anyone help me? > > PS: > here's the ifconfig in my htc incredible: > # busybox ifconfig > lo Link encap:Local Loopback > inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 > inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host > UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 > RX packets:276 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 > TX packets:276 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 > collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 > RX bytes:27041 (26.4 KiB) TX bytes:27041 (26.4 KiB) > > # this may be the 3G net, I'm not sure this "all 0" HWaddr is bad or not. > rmnet0 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr > 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00 > inet addr:115.171.175.9 Mask:255.0.0.0 > inet6 addr: fe80::1754:3b44:c3d6:3823/64 Scope:Link > UP RUNNING MTU:1380 Metric:1 > RX packets:4042 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 > TX packets:4767 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 > collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 > RX bytes:602261 (588.1 KiB) TX bytes:717045 (700.2 KiB) > > usb0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr F6:42:05:46:EF:A0 > # this is the usb tethering. > inet addr:192.168.42.129 Bcast:192.168.42.255 > Mask:255.255.255.0 > inet6 addr: fe80::f442:5ff:fe46:efa0/64 Scope:Link > UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 > RX packets:4708 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 > TX packets:3651 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 > collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 > RX bytes:798441 (779.7 KiB) TX bytes:2152759 (2.0 MiB) > > # busybox ifconfig > eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr D8:B3:77:14:90:9D > # wifi > inet addr:192.168.1.107 Bcast:255.255.255.255 > Mask:255.255.255.0 > inet6 addr: fe80::dab3:77ff:fe14:909d/64 Scope:Link > UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 > RX packets:17 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 > TX packets:20 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 > collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 > RX bytes:2612 (2.5 KiB) TX bytes:2779 (2.7 KiB) > > lo Link encap:Local Loopback > inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0 > inet6 addr: ::1/128 Scope:Host > UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1 > RX packets:276 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 > TX packets:276 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 > collisions:0 txqueuelen:0 > RX bytes:27041 (26.4 KiB) TX bytes:27041 (26.4 KiB) > > usb0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr F6:42:05:46:EF:A0 > # usb tethering. > inet addr:192.168.42.129 Bcast:192.168.42.255 > Mask:255.255.255.0 > inet6 addr: fe80::f442:5ff:fe46:efa0/64 Scope:Link > UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 > RX packets:5109 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 > TX packets:3927 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 > collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000 > RX bytes:867632 (847.2 KiB) TX bytes:2202263 (2.0 MiB) > > > > 2011/10/28 fycd <doggoodf...@gmail.com> > >> Hi all: >> >> Now I find that when I use 3G+USB_tethering. my PC can't access any >> website. >> >> but,it can access MSN, access ftp, it can sand and receive Email with >> Email-client(such as Evolution). >> and it just CAN'T access any website. >> >> I don't know whether it is wrong with the configuration of my PC's >> browser or with the configuration of my phone. >> >> it seems like it just can't access http.. >> >> It has troubled me a week, could any one help me? >> >> thanks a lot... t_t >> >> > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
