I believe you are on the right track. However, your main challenge is
not the app development; that's the simplest part of this challenge.
Your main challenge is (assuming that your system will become popular)
to have enough computentional power at the server side, keep your
servers alive in 99.99% of the time, load balancing, security etc etc
etc
