Hi, did you solved that issue? How? I think I'm having exactly the same problem here: custom TextView, custom attribute, it works when the attribute is assigned directly in the layout where the custom view is instantiated, but it does not work when the attribute is assigned in the application theme. By the way, the passed string is null in the second case.
