I keep looking around and running into dead ends. Back in June I read a few posts about how Google was working on making their maps available offline and was hoping someone had new insight into how this was progressing.
The project I am working on will be deployed on tablets that will not have any access to the internet. But we will still need to render a map of the state and be able to drill down to street level and pinpoint specific addresses as well as apply layers ontop of the map. Is there any way to get this done on Android in general and in specific do so with Google Maps? On Windows based tablets, we can do the job with Mappoint and I'm sure we could liscense something if we decided to head down the iOS road. Thanks in advance. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
