The job of parsing Morse code can be very simple if the sound is clean and regular. If it is a little bit irregular in timing, then the job gets harder. If there is a little noise, then it gets harder still. And if there is a lot of noise, then the programming becomes nearly impossible. The last I heard, a program could not beat a trained human listener in the toughest of environments. So how clean and regular in timing is this Morse code that you want to parse.
