Actually, I got it from the docs, where they added this somewhere along the line to requestLocationUpdates(): "This field is only used as a hint to conserve power, and actual time between location updates may be greater or lesser than this value." > I think the reason people ask this is that they (incorrectly) think > they will be saving battery life..
