Hello,

I'm trying to create my own OTA update utility for Android and was
wondering if anyone knew anything about working with /cache/recovery/
command. I read through some of the source code for the recovery
system and it seems as if I add "--update_package=location:file" to
this file and reboot the phone into recovery mode, it should
automatically unpack and apply the update to the phone without user
intervention. When I try doing this myself, the phone will reboot into
recovery mode but it just sits at command prompt waiting for the user
to hit Alt+S,Alt+W etc. Does anyone know how get this to work like the
way Google pushes out OTA updates?

Thanks,
