Can someone explain why some foreign devices are not appearing in the list of supported devices for my app? I setup the account on Google Play to allow all countries and exclude none. I have a client who went and ordered a Benss B9 tablet that has ICS 4.0.3 (I think it is from South Korea or China). He searched for my app in Google Play but it said that the app does not support his device. Looking at the list of supported devices, I could not even find Benss as a manufacturer. Investigating a bit more, there are other foreign manufacturers that are not listed. Well known companies like Toshiba and NEC are listed, but companies with less of a US presence are not.
My app ended up working fine on the Benss B9 (he manually installed it with the APK file) but I would like to be able to explain to customers why they cannot find my app, or configure it to appear even on these foreign devices.
