Ok after hours and hours of debugging and breaking my head for days .... i think i am finally onto some thing .... so i realized that the bbc stream plays well .. by well i mean it catches on within 5 secs on all the android devices that are still running the open core version and it takes a minimum of 45 secs on all the devices that are running stagefright. > > So my shoutcast stream that i want to use in the application runs on all the devices running stagefright and catches on between 10-12 secs ... but the devices running the open core version of android just get stuck in the prepare state .... the last line that registers in the logcat is prepare ....
