Hi All, We are having our application on Android and plan to add message alerts to our Android app users. The app will run in background and the moment any new alert is sent from central server the user should get notification alert on his Android device.
We have implemented Service functionality however the alert is not getting displayed. We can generate notification alerts from normal activity. Please share your thoughts and technical inputs on how we can resolve this issue and achieve the above functionality. Any code snippets or links are welcome. Thanks in advance for your time.
