Hi Irfan, Thank you for the reply, i do not wish to manually provide ip address. i wish to fix the soft reboot issue which occur due to no default gatway address provided by certain AP for e.g. cisco ap 1252. refering to file *system/core/libnetutils/dhcp_utils.c * and refering to config parameter "dhcp.wlan0.gatway" which is refered in the dhcp_utils.c file, i need to know where i could provide a default value for e.g. 0.0.0.0 something like init.rc to be specific can i provide the below in init.rc "setprop dhcp.wlan0.gatway 0.0.0.0" Regards, yogesh
