Bob, Since I'm using DDMS you know that I'm running in the emulator on my dev box which, in my case, is a desktop computer. The computer plus the monitor weigh quite a bit and I don't have a very long extension coord. So, I don't think running is the solution.
BTW, you wouldn't happen to know the answer to my question, would you? hint: Bearing doesn't work in the emulator - always feeds 0.0.
