Here is code from Reto Meier's book:

*if (gyroscopes != null && gyroscopes.size() > 1) correctedGyro = 
gyroscopes.get( gyroscopes.size()-1);*


He is getting the last gyroscope sensor and names the variable "*
correctedGyro*".  He works for Google.  Since he named the variable 
"correctedGyro" I would guess it's "corrected".
