As long as you agree..that's all that matters.. ;). No I hear you.. for simple things I agree too.. although I always tend to try to eek every last bit of speed/memory save I can and would probably these days just use jackson for everything. Jackson has a nice json to pojo and pojo to json feature as well, which is nice to use your own model objects with json.
