I have a problem in my app where it appears to lose its mind after
waking from a deep sleep.

I could use a WakeLock to prevent the deep sleep, but that feels like
duct tape, so I'd prefer to find WHY it's failing after waking from
deep sleep instead.

Unfortunately, it seems to take quite a while to get to that state -
is it possible to tell the device to go to sleep right away, or is it
like a kid, where you just have to wait for it.
