In my app i am trying to open a pdf file through https on a server but it
is not working (it only works for http )
Here is my code:
Uri path = Uri.parse("https://ind.nl/Documents/5013.pdf";);
Intent pdfIntent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_VIEW);
pdfIntent.setDataAndType(path, "application/pdf");
pdfIntent.setFlags(Intent.FLAG_ACTIVITY_CLEAR_TOP);
try{
startActivity(pdfIntent);
}catch(ActivityNotFoundException e){
Toast.makeText(DvdActivity.this, "No Application available to view PDF",
Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();
}
I tried several different pdfs but all pdfs on https servers do not work.
I would be very happy if you can help me.
