*Need EAD, GC, TN or Citizen Only!!* Job Description: Architect, Design and Engineer this client’s GLOBAL network infrastructure. In-depth experience in Network technology architecture design, evaluation and deployments. This is not a support position. This is a blend of Architecture, Design and Engineering with minimal support. A majority of this work is handling new projects, implementations, refreshes, network automation, Software Defined Networking, etc. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: STRONG BGP EXPERIENCE(THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST) STRONG MPLS EXPERIENCE (CANDIDATES MUST TRULY UNDERSTAND MPLS AND NOT JUST ORDER MPLS CIRCUITS) Adept with Cisco IOS and its variants, specifically the ability to read, write, and explain command-line level detail. Strong understanding of routing fundamentals Strong understanding of distance-vector, link-state, and path-vector routing fundamentals understanding of switching fundamentals Proficient at troubleshooting complex, multi-node issues Knowledge in architecting and/or managing large-scale networking solutions CCNP, JNCIS , or greater level of knowledge. CCIE PREFERRED Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal, required Customer first attitude PREFERRED SKILLS: Experience in automation and network management (e.g. DevOps) Ability to write scripts for network automation using Perl, Python, etc. Ability to work in inter-departmental and intra-departmental collaborative team environments Must be available to work off-hours project implementation schedules from time to time Must be available to participate in a week of after-hours on call support every ten to eleven weeks.
