Unfortunately this isn't working either: - "text/plain" in the above will change nothing (maybe except some internal interpretion of the content) - Using Intent.ACTION_SENDTO with an URI (like "mailto:some...@somewhere.com") will launch the application chooser - but the "Email" application will not interpret the fragments
