Using IP instead of host name is not a solution for all cases.
Some web servers determine their website according to host name - if
you call them by IP address only they do not respond correctly.

I am having the same problem with UnknownHostException.
In my opinion it must be Android SDK issue. Maybe it's related to SDK
for Linux only (which I am using currently)?
Can somebody from Google confirm or deny this problem?
Any other fix than using IP instead of hostname is welcome.
Anybody?
