Please review the following Job Description and share updated resume if you find comfortable for this position. *Role: **Incident Manager* *Location : New York, NY* *Duration: 12+ Months* *Job Description* Forming a virtual team and running crisis meetings, as required, to provide a focal point to drive incident resolution and service restoration Obtaining a detailed understanding of the incident and its implications Ensure the SLAs are met for Incidents of varying priority levels (P1, P2 & P3) Transition SPOC for Major Incident Management (MIM) Ensuring that key recovery actions are properly approved, where required (e.g. actions that may have business implications or cause more disruption) Ensuring that the recovery priorities are consistent with business requirements in consultation with the relevant BEM/business area Ensuring that appropriate levels of skill and resource are available Ensuring the recovery team have adequate facilities to enable them to perform their duties Overseeing the development of a recovery plan Minimizing the business impact where possible Considering contingency activities Ensuring that parallel activities are considered and planned Ensuring that key events and observations are recorded in the incident notes, to aid tracking of progress and provide input to a Major Incident Review Ensuring that all communications, internal and external are timely and effective Escalating further as necessary to support service recovery Instigating a Major Incident Review, where appropriate, to consider lessons learned.
