*Duration - 1 year* *(US Citizen or GC Only CTH role)* *Job accountability: * · Develop data management and integration programs (ETL streams) including data mappings, transforms, workflows, and scheduled jobs through all life cycle phases of design, development, testing, enhancement, maintenance, and operational support. · Able to design and develop in an object oriented approach creating solution patterns, reusable objects, job templates and related ideas · Create and maintain suitable documentation including: solution patterns, program specifications, implementation details (data mapping, dataflow diagrams, etc.), test plans, and related appropriate artifacts · Compile, test, run, and schedule ETL jobs effectively and efficiently. Able to monitor and diagnose executing jobs for performance and functional issues. Perform troubleshooting and remediation expeditiously. · Perform data profiling and analysis to assess data quality patterns, recommend data cleansing rules, conforming data standard rules and matching algorithms. · Develop, enhance, and support best practices and standards for data management and integration. · Establish trust and credibility with team members. · Provide ETL performance tuning expertise. · Work well with team members to create estimates and time lines for design, development, testing, and enhancement phases. Work well with vendors, partners, and Group associates for support. · Participate in project management for all Group Data Warehouse program engagements. *Required Knowledge and Skills: * 1. Four year degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience required. 2. 5+ years of data warehousing team experience in technology, business, and consulting roles. 3. Expert-level skills and experience with an industry leading Data Management tool are essential, IBM InfoSphere DataStage skills and experience are helpful. 4. Knowledge of the following will be helpful: · Current business analytics and database technologies and toolsets including: IBM InfoSphere DataStage and Oracle RDBMS · Typical line of business system data technologies and a solid understanding of business rules. 5. Should possesses expert-level SQL query writing skills in an industry leading relational database. 6. Related experience in the insurance, banking, or financial services industries is desirable, but not essential 7. Comfortable working in a dynamic team in transition to an agile methodology and environment 8.
