*Our Client, a leading Professional Services organization is looking for a
Sr. Full-stack Software Engineer for a 3-6 month contract working onsite in
Lavergne, TN. The Engineer will be working with Open Source technology
stacks and will be involved in application design, developing user
interfaces, and creating an optimal platform for data retrieval in support
of both internal and external facing applications. In addition, they will
support high volume applications to build, enhance convert, present and
optimize products and reports that set the standard for the book publishing
industry.*
*Required experience:*
- 5 years of software development experience with Ruby on Rails and
JavaScript
- 2 years of technical project lead experience or architectural
experience
- Application design, developing user interfaces & creating data
retrieval platform for both internal and external facing applications
- Ability to mentor and train junior engineers
*Highly Desired:*
- Full-Stack web development experience in Ruby on Rails
- JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Ember, React
- Experience working in Node.JS
- Database experience creating SQL queries
- Experience delivering analytical applications
- Team Development experience using Kanban (or Scrum) and Agile
