*Job Description:*
The Business Analyst’s role is to contribute to and coordinate the
production and maintenance of documentation that is vital to creation,
validation, and support of software that revolutionizes drug development.
The business analyst is expected to be embedded in multi-functional groups
including business and scientific experts and software development teams
that work together to produce novel IT solutions that drive the
pharmaceutical industry towards higher quality, more flexible, and lower
cost processes that enable development of new medicines. As solutions in
this space are highly regulated and subject to audit by client companies
and regulatory bodies, the business analyst’s role in tracking and
documenting requirements from project inception through testing is crucial.

*Responsibilities :-*


• Plan, design, research, write, and edit a range of documents, including
user requirements, user guides and manuals, technical specifications,
training materials, user policies, and proposals, for both print and online
media.
• Run ‘Requirement gathering meetings’ with IT and business teams including
medical and operational staff to identify business procedures and use cases
and establish documentation needs for hardware and software
• Analyze IT project requirements to ensure required documents are created
and maintained.
• Collaborate with systems and development staff to collect and interpret
technical information and create unified and consistent support documents
like    SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Work with printers and graphic artists to plan layout, graphical
elements, and formatting of documents.

-Ensure final documents are usable and of high quality.
• Establish, communicate, and maintain documentation standards, and provide
training where required.
• Maintain currency and accuracy of all documentation.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new documentation tools and methods in
support of documentation improvement efforts.

*Position Requirements*
• University degree.

A background in technology is desirable.

*Must have detailed knowledge* of the *software development life cycle* and
IT processes.

*Experience in a QC/QA role* with responsibility for electronic system
compliance and computer validation in a GLP and/or GMP environment.



*Desired experience: 3+ years.*
• Good interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening,
and interviewing skills.
• Enthusiasm for working with technical teams producing complex solutions.
• An ability to interpret technical requirements and produce broadly
understandable translations.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• A sample of written work is expected.
• Hands-on technical writing and editing experience, with specific
experience in documenting information technology software and systems.
• Knowledge of information gathering, planning, and organizing methods and
principles.
• Strong understanding of document formatting and presentation techniques.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as
required.
• Ability to absorb and retain information quickly, specifically complex
technical information.
• Ability to analyze target audience and to present ideas in user-friendly
language.
• Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
environment.
• Customer service orientation.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
