Looking for Sr. BigData/Hadoop Developer *Position: Sr. BigData/Hadoop Developer* *Location: Louisville, KY* *Duration: 6-12+ months contract* H1 with pp and i-94 *Job Description:* • 8+ Years of total IT experience with 4-5 years of hands-on experience implementing BigData, Hadoop, • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline. • Google Cloud Professional with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) IaaS and PaaS Components, Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, Storage, Server. • Minimum 6 months to 1 year project experience on GCP • Experience on developing products using MapR, HBase, Spark, Kafka, Microservices, etc. • Applications to deliver end to end Cloud Infrastructure architectures and designs; Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills. • Designing solutions and architecting applications for the Cloud (High availability, Fault tolerant, Elastic, Secure), Dataflow/Dataproc • Participate in solution building for moving existing workloads and/or traditional infrastructure to the Cloud ; • Designing To-Be architecture for Cloud based solutions covering Identity and Security aspects ; • Good knowledge of Big Data processing, private and public cloud design considerations and limitations in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing and networking, massive data storage, Hadoop, MapReduce, and security. • Experience with CI/CD, Agile tools, DevOps, Splunk, REST API, Source control and versioning tools: Preferred • Strong communication and presentation skills to provide new feature demos to project stakeholders • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong desire to move projects forward and be proactive.
