I use the android port on the freerunner and we have this problem. I have to set the DNS manually (setprop net.dns1 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) each time from the shell, and it's very annoying...
I'm looking for a more easy way to do it. Hope you can help me. thanks ----- Original Message ----- From: "Al Sutton" To: android-developers@googlegroups.com Subject: [android-developers] Re: Set the DNS from an activity Date: Wed, 04 Mar 2009 13:36:45 +0000 Why would there be?, as I said before to allow it creates a security problem.
