- Building, testing and deploying enhancements to existing software and
infrastructure
- Working closely with domain teams on a variety of new and existing
projects
- Ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security
for all production deployments
- Participating actively in the Agile development process as part of a
dynamic project team and ability to find ways to unblock the team/self as
necessary
- Administrating, monitoring and performance troubleshooting all facets
of production systems
- Practicing engineering best practices
*Qualifications*
- Proficient understanding of data structures, algorithms
- Proficient with at least one of the following programming languages or
libraries/frameworks
- Java
- Python
- AngularJS
- Angular2+
- React
- Experience in, or willingness to learn another language in the above
list
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and industry standard software
development lifecycle
- Experience using software development and testing tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies & implement requirements
effectively
*Preferred Skills and Knowledge*
- Experience developing products to conform to WCAG 2.0 Accessibility
standards.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL data platforms like MySQL,
PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, ElasticSearch
- Experience with either SpringBoot or Django Rest frameworks
- Knowledge of version control systems and workflow (Git)
- Understanding of service-oriented architecture concepts
- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development, Continuous
Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) concepts
- Understanding of HTML5, SCSS, ES6 JS, TS, Angular, React
- Experience with third-party testing tools like Jasmine, Jest, React
testing library, JUnit, Mockito
- Familiarity with Component-based development (CBD) and reusable
components
- Experience with Amazon Web Services
