Desirable. · Experience in managing infrastructure as code with Terraform and Azure Resource Manager · Demonstrated experience with modern operational toolsets including application and infrastructure monitoring (including design and realization), Log management/aggregation and distributed tracing/APM · Proven architecture skills and be able to translate data center architectures into a modern Azure architecture. · Experience with DevOps practices and tooling, CI/CD, Azure DevOps. · Customer-first mentality and experience in delivering on customers’ requirements. · The ability to clearly articulate the technical merits and limitations of a given architecture · Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. · Experience working with diverse stakeholders and a proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts & ensuring follow through · Prior work experience in a consulting/architecture position within a software & services company (MSP Preferred). *Responsibilities* · Retain ownership of the technical customer engagement through pre- and post-sales, including architectural design sessions, documentation, specific implementation projects and/or proofs of concepts as required. · Work with Customers, Sales, Product Management, and the DevOps team where your engagement will ensure that we drive modern managed services for our customers. · Deliver the customer experience from the sales cycle through delivery and lifecycle, ensuring customer satisfaction and providing upsell capabilities leveraging platform and solution capabilities to add value. · Work with diverse stakeholders to ensure the design and delivery of optimised Azure customer environments ensuring that they meet all functional and non-functional requirements. · Design solution which includes due consideration for steady state operations and continued delivery of value to our customers. · Engage productively with the engineers and architects within our Customers’ organizations by taking an application-centric view of the workload and solution appropriately utilizing knowledge of design and specification of infrastructure solutions, modern software architectures and cloud-native tools and methods.
