Position : Network Engineer Location : Englewood Cliffs, NY (ONLY LOCALS) Duration : 12+ Months Interview : Phone and Skype *VISA : USC or GC ONLY* · *I could do with a couple of Network Engineers that drive/have a car, can commute to Englewood Cliffs, dont mind working onsite, are GC holders or Citizens because it will go perm after 12 months. * · *They are looking for 2 folks – one a well-rounded Network Engineer/Tech and the other a Network Engineer who can design networks* · Title: Network Engineer / Network Tech Length of assignment 12 months with right to hire ; there may be travel to work locations. · This role will be hybrid between network engineer and tech role (so some rack/stack included) · The Network Engineer supports the Bank’s “People First” focus by designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network solutions to increase product responsiveness and continued improvement of the systems and networks. · Key Responsibilities • · Support the Bank’s “People First” focus and rules of engagement—maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing all clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB “A Better Place to Be”. · • *Responsible for the development of the design, implementation, and management of the enterprise network systems as well as network infrastructure including Firewalls, Switches, Routers, VPN appliances, Wireless and Voice network*. · • Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration, and installation. · • Responsible for creating and maintaining standards related to network system configurations, security, and service. · • Will also implement and maintain processes, procedures and associated plans for network infrastructure including administration, usage, and disaster recovery. · • Provide technical mentoring of network standards, standards, and support staff. Knowledge · • Familiarity with Bank security and safety practices. · • Solid understanding of industry best standards and hardening to network solutions and the implementation of the configurations. · • *Knowledge of Juniper and Cisco operating systems and their management. • Knowledge of current industry best practices of network design and security*. · • Knowledge of relevant Federal and State banking regulations Skills · • Strong “People First” interest and ability. · • *Strong grasp of networks (LAN/WAN/SAN/WiFi/MPLS), Windows environments, wiring and cabling, and network management and maintenance.* · • Project Management skills. · • Excellent written and verbal communications skills required.
