*Max Rate: $45/hr. on C2C Max* *VISA: No H1B, No OPT/CPT* *On Site from Day 1 (No Remote)* *Message from Client:* - Someone with experience with *JavaScript/TypeScript*. - We use *WebDriverIO+Chai+Mocha (for UI) and Axios (for API)* but there are other equivalent frameworks such as *Cypress.io, Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Mightwatch, Protractor, Pupeteer, etc.* all of which use *JavaScript/TypeScript*. - The reason for looking out for building the tests in the same technology is to cross-leverage the new and existing tests and harnesses across different teams in both directions. - We moved away from TestNG/Java around 1.5 years ago due to several reasons and are still migrating some old test suits. *Position: QA Automation Engineer (with **JavaScript/TypeScript)* Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 6+ Months VISA: No H1B, No OPT/CPT *What will you do? * Review and analyze website, application, and system specifications and acceptance criteria. Design and implement QA Automation Strategy and Framework to execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results. Evaluate testing results according to specifications and acceptance criteria. Create automated logs to document testing phases and defects. Design an automated bugs reporting and errors to development teams. Develop an automated QA Quality Gates during build and deployment. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with QA management to develop effective strategies and test plans. *What do we need? * At least *4 years* of experience working with *Object Oriented Programming or Scripting Language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#* At least *3 years* of experience working with *Automated QA Framework such as Selenium, Appium or Espresso* Experience with Data Driven Testing using templated test cases and Database. Understanding of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mocha, or Jasmine Understanding aspects of Performance Testing for Applications including frontend and backend using tools such as JMeter or Web Developers Tools Experience with Jenkins and establishing QA Gates during build or deployment.
