Alright, at the risk this has been discussed before, let me alert everybody that there are customers on metered data plans out there (metered as opposed to "unlimited"). This is the first time I've heard of it: http://groups.google.com/group/android-discuss/browse_thread/thread/2c8cd46426a640d6 So heads-up when you use wake locks to keep data connectivity alive.
