*Cloud Security Consultant * *Irving, TX 75039 * *18 months With Possible Extension * *Remote to start with but resource will need to be able to be onsite average 2-3 days per week* *Position’s Contributions to Work Group:* · Review and assessment of architectural artifacts (e.g. architecture diagrams) for compliance to security policy and identification of risks and potential areas of improvement · Collaborate with peer Cybersecurity professional in the assessment of IT solution for security posture · Liaison between Client Cybersecurity organization and the rest of Client to communicate, embed, and demonstrate compliance to Cybersecurity requirements · The individual will assist in the creation, review, and approval of solution architectural documentation that graphically depicts all components used by the application along with all connections and data flows down to the port/protocol level. · Cloud Architecture and Cybersecurity Expertise to share with internal Cybersecurity and Operational Teams. *Typical Day:* · Review and assessment of architectural artifacts (e.g. architecture diagrams) for compliance to security policy and identification of risks and potential areas of improvement · Collaborate with peer Cybersecurity professional in the assessment of IT solution for security posture · Consult with Development and Operational teams for On-Prem and Cloud solutions as well as migration to Cloud or Hybrid IT Solutions focused on Cybersecurity and providing suggestions on alternate solutions for internal customers. *Overview:* • More of a *Security Cloud Architect/Cloud Engineer* experience with operational experience in *AWS/Azure* and cloud solutions. • Experience in networking server storage. • Will be designing and reviewing Visio diagram, data flow diagrams for cloud and system architecture. • Deep foundation understanding for cyber security. • Will Design and reviewing architecture of application submission.
