*Position *– ServiceNow Developer
Oversee the development of ACS ServiceNow platform to ensure it meets the
needs of business owners and end users (currently 3 departments, 120
licenses). ACS has a broad range of customers with custom configuration and
several integrations. The developer will develop and support integrated
solutions that are easy to use for varying needs, while keeping maintenance
requirements to a minimum.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
- Duties include both production support (15%) and change request and
projects implementations (85%).
- Production Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues having to do with
integrations and/or configuration
- Support normal maintenance including, for example, moving update
sets, performing clone downs, and ensuring ServiceNow maintenance patches
have been installed in production
- Project / Change Request Support
- Collaborate with the project manager to establish timelines,
specifications, and budget
- Determine problem areas within our current framework and recommend
solutions based on ServiceNow best practices
- Develop integrations from ServiceNow to applications as required.
Integrations are unique per ServiceNow case type (ACS working
group). 2022
will see a project for an API integration with Paragon Plus.
- Design, develop, and test solutions within ServiceNow that on-board
new case types or improve usability and systems maintainability. ACS
currently has many outstanding change requests and 3 new teams
to bring on
board as new case types. Some development is unique by case type.
Developer will need to understand impacts to maintainability.
- Move current integration from email to API.
- Perform at least one ServiceNow upgrade per year. Understand
impacts to current configuration and processes and integrate changes as
appropriate.
- Provide regular updates on project status to supervisors
*Requirements and Qualifications*
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology,
computer information systems, or a similar field
· Strong understanding of database structures
· 3+ years of working with ServiceNow
· ServiceNow Application Developer & Administrator certifications are
mandatory
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
