*Database Performance Engineer - Austin, TX* Requirement Skill Set # of Requirement(s) Location(s) Job Description Database Performance Engineer Knowledge of AWS services, Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience working on AWS services mentioned below: * EC2 - Security groups, AutoScaling Groups * IAM * S3 * Route53 * EBS * Cloudformation * RDS Oracle, Postgres 1 Austin, TX 1. Identify areas of performance improvement in different SQL & NoSQL database technologies 2. Performance analyze the environment and identify bottlenecks due to network, storage and Operating system with end to end Root cause analysis 3. Collect and analyze database metrics collected during Performance Load testing and report/highlight issues, if any 4. Identify ways to pull database related metrics like CPU, Memory, IO Latencies, 5. Perform database level tracing and analyze trace files 6. Perform log analysis for different datastore technologies to identify issues and solve them 7. Open case or issues with vendor companies and provide clear issue details 8. Carry technical discussion with cross functional teams and work on resolving database issues 9. Perform Technical POCs with new diverse database technologies 10.
