*Responsibilities* - Connect with the other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion within project timing and budget. - Design new processes and improvements for new and existing products. Be an active member of Design review, DFMEA, Risk assessment and other technical meetings. - Prepare and complete electrical schematics, mechanical and electrical designs, design reviews, FMEA, modeling (component and assembly) and drawing efforts. - Track costs of completed designs with the support of product cost management. Define and evaluate electrical harness, mechanical componentry and system level costs versus the achieved functionality. - Resolve product integrity reports (PIR’s) and track progress to project milestones and achieve reliability targets in the project growth period. - Write and track engineering change orders and maintain a project log on assigned tasks and work with the project team through development and implementation phases to meet project timing. - May conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable. · Aid with prototype builds and actively engage in field operations as required. · Develop, maintain, and release necessary system specifications and documentation consistent with program requirements including electrical schematics, electrical and mechanical system operation requirements, interfaces, test and validation specifications, and models and drawings. *Must Have* - Vehicle level harness and connector design & development - 3D routing experience in a manufacturing setting. - Electrical parts and harness drawings release management. - Creo Experience - A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other Engineering Field & 5+ years’ experience -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
