*Duration: 1 year* - Must have minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a solution architect, in providing solutions that aligns with enterprise architecture and aligns with business process in use. - Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience performing architecture quality assurance for complex projects and initiatives; performing *enterprise applications integration* (EAI); defining and developing shared services architectures; designing and developing component architectures; and/or defining enterprise technology architectures; at least three (3) years of said experience must have been at a high level - both technically and in measure of responsibility. - Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in reviewing various software - frameworks like web application framework, java script frameworks and recommending based on a set of customers provided criteria. - Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience developing, maintaining and enhancing complex and innovative programs using *Java (J2EE), Tomcat, JSP/Servlets, JavaScript, JDBC, XML, CSS, HTML and advance java* script frameworks like AngularJS, - *JQuery* etc - Knowledge and minimum experience of five (5) years using *Spring with MVC* - *Framework, Spring Web Services, Containers and Container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes* - Knowledge of Pension systems, familiarity, and experience minimum of five (5) - *years working with public pension systems* *Technical Debt Discovery and Implementation Plan* 1. Review Application for Technical Debt – Deliver findings 2. Prepare Backlog of activities needed to address technical debt – Deliver Backlog 3. Implement fixes for priority items discovered for FY 23-24 4. Knowledge Transfer and mentoring *Application Modernization Discovery and Implementation* 1. Review myCalPERS for application modernization opportunities – Deliver Findings 2. Prepare list of activities and create backlog to implement findings 3. Implement modernization findings 4. Knowledge Transfer and mentoring *Mitigation Plan and Implementation of Application Security Testing findings* 1. Review myCalPERS core Application Security Testing findings – Deliver finding 2.
