Xavier, Having exhausted all the below, I find that calling Street View is crashing. Both from the built-in Maps app (as well as my app that calls it). Am I alone with this?
Also, map tiles are not displayed with a 1.5-based build of the app. The 1.1-based build using identical source code base runs on an id=3 AVD just fine. Except for the Street View issue, of course.
