Thanks for the help, I've got the scrollbar working how I wanted it and I'm working on the SectionIndexer.
I just have one question left. Does this mean I'm forced to use the Android 1.5 SDK if I want fastScrollEnabled? - Trying to build the project at a 1.1 level gives me a "no resource identifier found" error on my xml layout.
