I am having problems with this too. I can't seem to generate an intent by browsing to a file that I want my application to open. I am using a html file (have tried both .html and .myapp file extensions) with this:
<head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="application/myapp"> </head> Is there anything else I have to do to "tag" this file as having a certain mime type? My intent filter in the manifest is like this: <intent-filter> <action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW" /> <category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT" /> <data android:mimeType="application/myapp" android:scheme="http" / > </intent-filter> Is there anything else this needs?
