Solved :). If anyone is interested the styles.xml should look like this: <resources> <style name="Animation.Popup" parent="android:Animation"> <item name="android:windowEnterAnimation">@anim/popup_in</ item> <item name="android:windowExitAnimation">@anim/popup_out</ item> </style> </resources>
