Strange, that should be much much faster if all you do is
rebuild/reinstall/launch a trivial app.

I would suspect your computer doesn't have enough RAM and is swapping like
mad between
Eclipse and the emulator, but it's hard to tell.

What does the Performance tab of the Windows Task Manager says about free
memory /
CPU usage / etc .. when you're trying to restart the app?
