But if I change the identifier to something else, it does not work, hence the "http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" value of the namespace has to have some kind of (internal) meaning. I get though that the validity of the attributes is based on the parent element (as per my understanding), but this does not explain why it will not work with a value of "http://mihai/fonoage" for example.
