We cannot just put Apache Tomcat on the Android in its current form and expect it to work can we? The software design hints to me that the program would have to be converted. The same goes for any other java application that someone might have developed on another machine that they would like to see on the Android platform. If there is a proprietary java SOAP messaging program from a company for example, in order to use that library they might expect communication with a local web client program to communicate with a server. I'm trying to see my options here and where the android starts to put restrictions on me. I like the concept of programming on the Android, I just need a broader clarification of the programming concept for issues such as these. ~ JFrog -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
