Just a follow if anyone else is looking for an answer to this
problem. Someone at Google did send me a private message that
Attributes has startYear and endYear in it for setting the start and
end end dates and you can set those in the XML for the DatePicker. I
have confirmed it works. However it is not part of the documentation
for DatePicker and should be. I haven't found a way to do this from
the DatePicker dialog however though maybe there some high voodoo to
do it.
